Full job description

We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Manager to take charge of our construction and development project at Fairwood Lakes.

In this role, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of our project, ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to our high-quality standards. You will also take a leading role in contract administration and management, closely liaising with contractors, consultants, and the development team to ensure contractual obligations are met and projects are successfully delivered.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations on construction site, ensuring projects adhere to specified timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Supervise and coordinate the work of subcontractors, labourers, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
Develop detailed project schedules, monitoring progress and adjusting plans as necessary.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting regular site inspections and risk assessments.
Manage procurement of materials and equipment, maintaining accurate records of deliveries and inventory.
Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and resolve issues promptly.
Prepare progress reports and documentation for senior management and clients.
Lead by example in promoting a safe working environment and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) — current and valid
First Aid at Work — current and valid
CSCS Black Card (Manager) or equivalent
HNC/HND or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
NEC or JCT contract administration training or qualification
Minimum 5 years site management experience on construction or development projects
Proven experience in managing construction sites with a strong understanding of project management principles.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams and supervise effectively.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with diverse stakeholders.

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
