Hours of Work: Monday-Friday 14:00-22:00 4 on 4 off (6:00-18:00)

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for achieving appropriate performance in all warehouse activities and tasks. The key delivery aspect of this role is to ensure the customer receives the correct product, the correct quantity, the correct quality and the correct delivery time/date.

Key Accountabilities:

Adherence to all organisational policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
Ensure high levels of accuracy in all tasks.
Ensure products are presented at the required standards.
Ensure health and safety processes and procedures are always followed.
Communicate information via the relevant communication channels.
Alert relevant people to process and product concerns and/or rectify where appropriate.
Agree and complete training and development requirements as determined by the Supervisor and the training plan.
Ensure workplace is clean and tidy – all housekeeping procedures are followed, and the workplace is safe.
Operate machinery and equipment safely, following all procedures.

Role Requirements:

Basic level of numeracy and literacy.
Ability to use a PC to an operational level where necessary.
Good communication skills.

Clean, neat and tidy approach to work.
Positive approach to the working environment.
Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a larger team.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
