Job Title: Café Assistant

Start Date: August 2026

Role: Part-time availability

We are a multi award-winning business, operating five unique and vibrant café locations. Our customers are at the heart of everything we do and so we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service and creating a warm, welcoming environment for everyone who visits our sites. At the heart of this, is our wonderful crew and that's where you come in.

Role Overview:
We are looking for mature, responsible individuals to join The Bagel Shop- Queen Street as both permanent Café Assistants. While experience in a similar role is beneficial, it is not essential as we provide comprehensive training. What we value most is a positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for customer service. This role will include weekends as well as academic holiday time, so it wouldn't be suitable for someone in education.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the café at all times.
Assist with stock management, including replenishing supplies.
Work as part of a team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and care.

The ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Reliability and a strong sense of responsibility.
Flexibility to work across different sites as needed.
Availability to start in early-mid September.
