NEW BUILD WORKS.

PRICE AND DAY RATES.

We are seeking a skilled Self Employed Painter and Decorator to undertake painting and decorating projects on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to manage your own schedule while delivering high-quality finishes for residential and commercial clients. Experience in construction painting and a valid driving licence are highly desirable.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting or decorating
Apply paint, varnish, wallpaper, and other finishes with precision and care
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard, adhering to client specifications and safety regulations
Manage your own workload by scheduling appointments with clients efficiently
Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice where necessary
Source quality materials and tools required for each job
Complete all necessary documentation related to each project, including invoices and work reports

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting and decorating, ideally with a portfolio of completed projects
Strong understanding of different paints, finishes, and decorating techniques
Valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between sites
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of workmanship
Good organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently

Pay: £200.00-£210.00 per day
