Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and reliable Home Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be the friendly face delivering packages directly to customers' homes, ensuring a positive experience with every interaction. Duties

Safely operate company vehicles to deliver packages promptly and accurately to residential addresses.
Plan efficient delivery routes to maximize productivity and reduce delivery times.
Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, answer questions, and address any concerns professionally.
Load and unload packages, often involving heavy lifting and careful handling of goods.
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety and compliance with traffic laws.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reporting of any issues encountered during routes.
Collaborate with warehouse staff for inventory management and package sorting as needed.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role; commercial driving experience is highly valued.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
Experience in warehouse operations or handling heavy lifting is preferred.
Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Ability to navigate using GPS devices or maps efficiently.
Physical stamina for prolonged periods of driving and lifting heavy packages.
Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
