YR Golf is a brand-new premium lounge bar opening in the heart of Sidmouth, bringing together exceptional coffee, quality food, cocktails and world-class golf simulators.

We're creating somewhere people genuinely enjoy spending time—and we're looking for the right person to lead our kitchen.

This is a different kind of kitchen.

We've deliberately designed our menu to be focused, simple and consistently high quality.

That means less stress, less complexity and more time spent maintaining standards, developing the team and helping create a brilliant guest experience.

If you're passionate about hospitality but fed up with the long hours and pressure of traditional kitchens, this could be exactly what you're looking for.

The Role

You'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our kitchen, ensuring every dish leaves to the same high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading the kitchen day to day.
Food preparation and service.
Stock ordering and rotation.
Food safety and hygiene.
Maintaining excellent organisation and cleanliness.
Working closely with the front of house team to deliver a seamless guest experience.

You'll occasionally support front of house, just as they'll support you when needed.

Kitchen management experience is an advantage, but we're equally interested in ambitious Sous Chefs or experienced Chefs who are ready to take the next step.

Attitude, care and a willingness to learn will always outweigh ego.

What We Offer

Salary of £26,000–£28,000 depending on experience.
Most weeks working around 42–45 hours, with a maximum contracted week of 48 hours.
