ABOUT THE COMPANY

We are seeking a reliable and detail‑focused Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our Accounts team. You will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, preparing payments, and supporting general finance and cashiering duties.

Salary:

£15,975.00 (FTE £26,625.00)

Hours:

22.5 hours per week. Days are flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate but must include working on Friday’s.

Key Responsibilities

Match purchase invoices to POs and goods received notes
Input invoices into the purchase ledger system
Prepare supplier payments and reconcile accounts
Raise manual cheques and maintain accurate filing
Ensure cash is banked and posted promptly
Handle queries and incoming calls professionally
Support the Accounts Manager and cover cashiering when required

Skills & Attributes

Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Good decision‑making and ability to work under pressure
Confident using Microsoft Office and internal systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Organised, adaptable, and professional

Additional Benefits:

Annual leave entitlement is 20 days per year plus bank holidays FTE. As this role is part-time, your entitlement will be pro‑rated accordingly.
Annual leave increases with length of service, rising to 25 days per year (pro‑rated) after the qualifying period.
