Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our vibrant team, committed to making a positive difference in the lives of children. In this role, you will provide compassionate support, guidance, and mentorship to young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment where they can thrive. Duties

Offer personalized support to children, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being at all times
Assist with daily routines such as meal preparation, hygiene, and recreational activities
Provide mentoring to help children develop social skills, self-esteem, and independence
Support educational activities and facilitate learning through teaching and engaging exercises
Collaborate with team members and families to create tailored care plans that meet individual needs
Monitor progress and document observations to inform ongoing support strategies
Promote a positive environment by encouraging participation in group activities and fostering teamwork

Qualifications

Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is highly desirable
Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire young people
Knowledge of teaching methods suitable for children’s developmental stages
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate approach
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations effectively
A proactive attitude with a genuine passion for supporting children's growth and development
Relevant certifications or training in childcare or youth work are a plus
