Overview

Join our vibrant educational team as an Art Class Teacher Assistant and play a pivotal role in inspiring creativity and fostering artistic growth among students. In this dynamic position, you will support lead teachers in delivering engaging art lessons, assist students with their projects, and create an inclusive environment where every one feels empowered to express themselves through art. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help cultivate a love for the arts while ensuring a positive, supportive classroom experience for all learners.

Duties

Assist the lead art teacher in preparing classroom materials, supplies, and setting/clearing up the classroom.
Support students during art activities by providing guidance, encouragement, and individualized assistance.
Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe, organized environment conducive to creative exploration.
Foster positive interactions among students, promoting collaboration, mentoring, and peer support.
Adapt instructional techniques to meet the diverse needs of students.
Supervise students during art projects, clean-up times, and transitions to ensure safety and orderliness.

Qualifications

Prior experience working in educational or extracurricular settings, especially in art or creative environments.
Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with teachers and students.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and motivate students while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
Experience teaching art-related skills is a plus.
Passion for arts education combined with patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for supporting diverse learners.
Ability to follow instructions carefully while contributing innovative ideas to enhance classroom activities.
