Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team! In this pivotal role, you will assist the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food production and service delivery
Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food output
Assist in preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and maintaining consistency across menu items
Enforce food safety standards and sanitation procedures to uphold health regulations and cleanliness
Lead by example in food presentation, portion control, and adherence to recipes to ensure customer satisfaction
Train and mentor team members on culinary techniques, safety protocols, and service standards
Collaborate with the restaurant management team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings

Requirements

Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment
Strong culinary experience with expertise in food preparation and cooking techniques
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Extensive kitchen experience including food safety practices and sanitation standards
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with staff and serve customers efficiently
