Full job description

Position: Machine Operative

Location: Ahmarra Timber Fire Door Factory, Havant, PO9 1FA

Working hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Thursday and 7.00am - 1.00pm on Friday

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Duties will include operating our Beam Saw as well as cross training as required on a variety of machines.
The successful candidate will be able to follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) whilst ensuring compliance to all Health and Safety and PPE requirements at all times as per the Company Health and Safety Policy.
Performing various other tasks as directed by your Supervisor.
Full training will be given.

Key skills/Person Specification

Experience of operating a beam saw or similar joinery/wood machinist knowledge preferred
A high level of attention to detail to adhere to our high quality control standards.
A flexible, friendly and enthusiastic attitude.
A flexible attitude in respect of overtime working as and when required.
A good standard of fitness is required as some materials may need manual handling
