Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Bookkeeper and become a vital part of our financial operations! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring the integrity of our accounting processes. Your expertise will help us streamline financial workflows, support decision-making, and uphold our commitment to transparency and precision. Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including recording transactions and reconciling accounts using accounting software Xero.
Process accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections
Maintain accurate financial records by updating ledgers and preparing reports regularly
Assist with bank reconciliations, expense tracking, and financial data analysis
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures with attention to detail
Collaborate with external auditors during audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
Ensure compliance with relevant financial policies and procedures at all times

Skills

Experience working in construction beneficial
Proficiency in popular accounting software Xero is essential! Please dont apply if you arent Xero compliant
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial recordkeeping
Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and external partners
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices is required
