Full job description

Emerald Interiors is looking for a reliable and hardworking general labourer to assist with a commercial fit-out project starting 27th July in central london

The role will involve general site labouring and assisting our trades throughout the project.

Main duties

Assisting with strip-out and demolition works
Knocking down plasterboard walls and removing existing materials
Heavy lifting and moving materials around the site
Taking waste and rubble to the designated waste area
Loading and unloading deliveries
Keeping working areas clean, tidy and safe
Assisting skilled tradespeople when required
Carrying out general site duties as instructed by the site supervisor

Previous construction or labouring experience would be beneficial, although the most important things are reliability, punctuality and a willingness to work.

Applicants must:

Be physically fit and comfortable carrying out heavy manual work
Have their own safety boots and basic PPE
Have the right to work in the UK
Be able to travel reliably to Southwark Bridge Road for an 8:00am start
Be available for the duration of the project

There may be opportunities for further work on future projects for someone who performs well. We have a number of ongoing project in Essex and London
