Warehouse Operative (Full Time)

Location: Kelvedon, Essex
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £26,500 per annum
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Reporting to: Warehouse Supervisor
Start Date: As soon as possible

About Kelvelec

Kelvelec Electrical Supplies Ltd is an established independent electrical distributor based on the outskirts of Kelvedon, Essex.

We supply electrical wholesalers throughout the UK with a wide range of electrical products, providing a reliable next-day delivery service through our trusted courier and haulage partners.

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. You'll play an important role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while helping maintain an efficient, safe and organised warehouse.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential. Full training will be provided, so previous industry experience isn't required.

Key Responsibilities

Pick, pack and label customer orders accurately.
Receive, check and process incoming stock deliveries.
Put stock away safely and accurately.
Process customer returns.
Maintain a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
Follow company Health & Safety procedures.
Liaise with customers and suppliers once familiar with the business.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

Able to work efficiently in a busy environment.
Comfortable using computers and Microsoft Windows.
Keen to learn our stock and inventory system.

£26,500 annual salary.

Monday to Friday working hours – no weekends.

Our premises are located approximately 1.5–2 miles from the nearest public transport links. Applicants should therefore have reliable access to their own transport.
