Full job description

Nightshift Warehouse Operative with Counterbalance FLT Licence
Salary: £32, 217.40 (annualised hours basis)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Nights: Monday to Friday (Mon to thurs 9pm to 6am and friday 6pm to 3am)
Location: South Shields, NE34 9PH
DHL, an award winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:
Operate PPT & Counterbalance FLT depending on pick requirement
Loading wagons in preparation for delivery
Completing order paperwork to ensure all orders are logged correctly
Adhering to all health and safety on site
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

Minimum 2 years experience of using a counterbalance FLT (Essential Requirement)
Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures (desirable)
Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of orders.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
Willing to undertake training on other types of MHE such as LLOP Reach FLT and PPT
