Full job description

The Projects Co-ordinator supports the planning and delivery of projects across the business, helping to keep actions, timelines and budgets on track. Working with different teams, suppliers and stakeholders, the role coordinates meetings, keeps project information up to date and makes sure actions are followed through. They’ll keep people informed, flag delays or issues early, and help resolve day-to-day problems that could hold a project up. The role also acts as a sounding board for the project team, helping people work through ideas, challenges and priorities and making sure everyone is clear on what needs to happen next.

Key accountabilities of the role

Support the planning and delivery of projects, helping to keep tasks, actions and deadlines on track.
Keep project plans, action logs and other project information accurate and up to date.
Organise project meetings, including agendas, notes and follow-up actions.
Keep an eye on project timelines and flag delays or issues early.
Track project costs and budgets, supporting with purchase orders and invoices where needed.
Work closely with teams, suppliers and other stakeholders to keep communication clear and projects moving.
Follow up on actions and make sure people are clear on what needs to happen next.
Help identify and work through project risks, issues and blockers.
Keep project management systems and trackers up to date.
Support with project updates, reports and presentations when needed.
Look for practical ways to improve how projects are organised and managed.

Good attention to detail, particularly when working with project information and documentation.
Proactive and happy to take ownership of actions and see them through.
Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
Approachable and a good listener, someone people are comfortable talking ideas or problems through with.
Comfortable working with different teams, suppliers and stakeholders.
Practical problem-solver who can help work through issues and keep things moving.
Adaptable when priorities change or projects don’t go quite to plan.
Collaborative team player who builds good working relationships.

Experience

At least 1 years’ of experience in a project support, coordination, or administrative role.
Good working knowledge of project management tools (e.g. Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, Jira, or Smartsheet).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace, particularly Excel/Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides.
Experience working cross-functionally with varied teams and stakeholders.
Previous experience working within the Agricultural industry would be beneficial.

Qualifications

Good standard of education, particularly literacy, numeracy, and geography.
Foundation-level project management certification (e.g. APM PFQ, PRINCE2 Foundation) would be beneficial.

Contract length

12-month maternity cover, with the potential for a permanent position.
