Trainee Events Co Ordinator – Alrewas Hayes Full‑time/part time/ Staffordshire |

Alrewas Hayes is seeking a confident, organised and people‑focused ( trainee) Events Co Ordinator to join our award‑winning venue team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, loves building strong client relationships, and can deliver exceptional events from first enquiry to final farewell.

The Role

You will plan and manage a portfolio of client events from start to finish, ensuring every detail reflects the client’s wishes and Alrewas Hayes’ high standards. As the first point of contact for your designated events, you’ll oversee administration, planning meetings, supplier liaison, staffing, and on‑the‑day coordination.

What You’ll Bring

Degree in Event Management or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of event planning and client case management.
Experience managing event teams.
A proactive, sales‑driven mindset with confidence upselling venue services.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain client files, quotes, contracts and planning documents.
Manage inboxes and respond promptly to enquiries.
Build strong client relationships through proactive phone communication.
Organise monthly office rota and ensure events are fully staffed.
Train, brief and support casual event staff.
Conduct venue viewings and maximise opportunities.
Lead planning meetings and produce accurate planning documents.
Act as lead planner for designated events, coordinating suppliers, catering, housekeeping and venue setup.
Oversee event delivery, staff briefings, food & beverage service and guest experience.
Support Open Days and Tasting Events.
Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety and Fire Regulations.
