Full job description

Patient Care Coordinator / Receptionist

32 hours per week
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
Occasional Saturdays (8:30am – 2:00pm)

About the Role

As the first point of contact for our patients, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every patient receives an outstanding experience from their very first interaction with us.

Your responsibilities will include:

Welcoming patients in person and over the telephone
Booking and managing appointments
Answering inbound and making outbound telephone calls
Responding to emails and patient enquiries
Managing the administration of patient care
Completing daily and weekly administrative reports
Taking payments and handling money accurately
Liaising with external organisations and laboratories
Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the practice

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has a caring, friendly and compassionate nature
Has an excellent telephone manner
Is warm, professional and welcoming to every patient
Communicates confidently and effectively
Has excellent organisational skills and can prioritise their workload
Is confident using IT systems
Takes ownership of their work and has excellent attention to detail
Is reliable, flexible and enjoys working as part of a team
Has a positive attitude and is keen to learn and develop throughout their career

Previous experience working in a dental practice would be an advantage, but it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
