We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Production team as a Production Controller at our Wolverhampton site.

Your Role :
This role supports the Machine Shop operation and plays a key role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and production activities in line with the Master Production Schedule (MPS).

Key responsibilities:

Work with supply-chain to ensure both internal and external supply of material to agreed schedules
Manage Lines of Balance for each Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) within their responsibility
Develop production and kitting plans in line with customer requirements and sales forecasts (Including Aftermarket, OERs & Aged WIP)
Validate schedule to capacity (build plan review)
Manage work order release and closure in line with MPS requirement
Inventory control/accuracy
Manage escalation process when a sustained deviation from plan occurs and capture turnbacks
Management of Engineering change introduction
Working with operators, production schedules, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to MPS
Develop weekly shipping plan in line with customer requirements and operations output

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring :

Experience in Production Planning, Production Control, Materials Planning, or Supply Chain Planning within a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of SAP and Excel would be desirable, with the ability to manage production schedules, work orders, and material requirements.
Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and prioritisation skills, with the ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and influencing skills, combined with a proactive mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
