Nursery Room Leader

Woodstock, Oxfordshire | Up to £30,000 per annum | Full Time | Permanent

The Role

As the Nursery Room Leader, you will lead the Pre-School area with confidence while supporting your team to provide outstanding childcare and early years education.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading and motivating your room team to deliver exceptional childcare.
Ensuring the safeguarding, welfare and wellbeing of all children.
Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework.
Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.
Supporting children with individual needs and working closely with parents and colleagues.
Maintaining high standards of care, hygiene and health & safety.
Leading by example and promoting best practice throughout the nursery.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A Level 3 Early Years Childcare qualification (or equivalent) *Please note that standalone Health & Social Care qualifications do not meet the qualification requirements for this position*
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK. Unfortunately, visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Previous experience within a nursery or Early Years setting.
Leadership experience or the confidence to step into a Room Leader position.
A solid understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A caring, enthusiastic and positive approach to supporting children's learning and development.
