Full job description

Help customers take the next step towards becoming debt free.

At Angel Advance, we help people regain control of their finances through clear, supportive debt advice. As a Customer Support Administrator, you'll work within our Debt Advice Team in a role internally known as a Document Verification Officer, supporting customers through the final stages of their application and ensuring they receive a smooth and professional experience from start to finish.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, has strong attention to detail and is looking to build a long-term career within financial services. Many of our Debt Advisors have progressed from this role.

Working Hours

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Shifts are worked between 8:00am and 6:00pm.

Based at our modern offices in Birchwood, Warrington, with excellent transport links to Manchester, Liverpool and the surrounding areas.

About the Role

As a Customer Support Administrator (Document Verification Officer), you'll help customers complete their debt solution application by reviewing documentation, verifying information and supporting them throughout the onboarding process.

Your responsibilities will include:

Reviewing bank statements, payslips and supporting documentation
Contacting customers to obtain any outstanding information needed to progress their application
Identifying discrepancies and discussing these with customers professionally and sensitively
Booking and managing advisor appointments
Supporting Debt Advisors with customer onboarding and document verification
Responding to customer queries via telephone, email and SMS
Maintaining accurate customer records while ensuring compliance with FCA requirements and data protection obligations
Managing your own workload to achieve individual and team KPIs
Participating in ongoing training and coaching to continually develop your skills

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service.

You'll ideally have:

GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
Confidence speaking with customers over the telephone and by email
Good IT skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
A genuine passion for delivering excellent customer outcomes

Previous experience in customer service, administration, banking, financial services or debt advice would be beneficial, although full training will be provided.
