Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server at Fish Union and become the heart of a lively dining experience! In this role, you’ll be the friendly face that welcomes guests, takes their orders, and delivers exceptional service that keeps everyone coming back. Your energy and enthusiasm will create a warm, inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued and cared for. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Duties

Greet guests with a genuine smile and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring presentation quality and guest satisfaction
Check in with guests during their meal to ensure everything is to their liking and address any special requests or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
Process payments accurately and handle cash or card transactions securely
Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff, bartenders, and fellow servers to deliver a smooth dining experience

Skills

Excellent communication skills with a warm, engaging personality
Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills to coordinate with colleagues for efficient service delivery
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Prior experience in hospitality or food service is a plus but not required—training provided!
A positive attitude coupled with a proactive approach to guest satisfaction
