Overview

We are looking for a motivated, organized, and people-focused HR Administrator/Intern to join our team.

You will support the day-to-day administration of our HR function and play a role in creating a positive employee experience. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, has strong attention to detail, and is eager to learn and develop within a fast-paced and growing business.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extension, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

Assist with onboarding new employees by preparing offer letters, completing new hire paperwork, coordinating background checks, and entering employee information into HR systems.
Support offboarding processes, including preparing separation paperwork and updating employee records.
Respond to first-line HR queries from employees and direct more complex questions to the appropriate member of the HR team.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR systems are kept up to date.
Support the HR team with day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, document management, reporting, and data entry.
Assist with seasonal hiring and other HR projects as required.
Help coordinate new store openings by preparing HR documentation and supporting activities.
Work closely with HR, Payroll, and Recruitment teams to ensure a smooth employee experience.

What We're Looking For

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills. You must be reliable and accountable for your work.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with HR systems such as Workday or ADP would be an advantage, but full training will be provided.
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
Professional, approachable, and able to handle confidential information with discretion.
A team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and delivering a great employee experience.
Previous administrative experience is beneficial.
A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or a related subject is desirable.
