Bartender – New Restaurant Opening

Ready to shake things up?

MPS Hospitality Limited is opening a brand-new restaurant, and we're looking for enthusiastic and passionateBartender to join our opening team.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a brand-new venue , helping to create an unforgettable atmosphere and delivering exceptional drinks and service to every guest.

At MPS Hospitality, we're passionate about bold Sri Lankan flavours, legendary cocktails, and creating memorable experiences for both our guests and our teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy engaging with people, and take pride in crafting outstanding drinks, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to a consistently high standard.
Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging customer service to create memorable guest experiences.
Recommend drinks and menu pairings, confidently explaining our cocktail and beverage offerings.
Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar throughout each shift.
Follow all licensing laws, food safety, health and safety, and allergen procedures.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages to management.
Process customer orders and payments accurately using the till system.
Work closely with the Front of House and Kitchen teams to ensure smooth and efficient service.
Contribute to creating a fun, welcoming atmosphere that reflects authentic Sri Lankan hospitality.
Support the wider restaurant team during busy service periods whenever required.

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
Knowledge about mixology.
A passion for cocktails, beverages, and delivering outstanding customer service.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A positive attitude with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
A team player who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment.
Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak trading periods.
The legal right to work in the UK.
