Job Summary

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are strictly followed to maintain a clean kitchen environment
Support meal preparation during busy service times to ensure timely delivery of orders
Maintain proper storage and labeling of ingredients to prevent spoilage and ensure freshness
Serve dishes with attention to presentation and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness, organization, and efficiency in the kitchen

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant or similar setting
Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food hygiene regulations
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and customer interaction
Flexibility to adapt to different roles within the kitchen as needed
Basic understanding of culinary techniques and meal presentation principles
Enthusiasm for learning new skills and advancing within the culinary field
