Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent guest service skills, a strong understanding of food and beverage service, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to deliver exceptional dining experiences while developing your skills within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalised service throughout their visit
Take accurate orders and relay them promptly to the kitchen and bar staff
Serve food and beverages in a courteous and timely manner
Ensure guest satisfaction by checking in regularly and addressing any special requests or concerns
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables, condiments, and utensils
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
Adhere to food safety standards and health regulations at all times
Assist with basic food preparation or side duties as required during quieter periods
Manage multiple tables efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanour
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments in accordance with company procedures

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential; Company standards training will be provided for suitable candidates
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
Basic maths skills for handling bills and payments accurately
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for guest services and creating memorable dining experiences
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
