Business Development Manager

£32,000 basic + uncapped commission | £50,000+ OTEFull-time | Permanent

Jobsi helps recruitment agencies attract candidates beyond traditional job boards.

We combine social media recruitment advertising with AI-powered automation to help recruiters reach more candidates, reduce admin and fill more jobs.

We’re an established and profitable business with long-term clients, proven results and a product that works.

We’re now looking for our first dedicated Business Development Manager to help us take the next step.

The Role

Your job is simple: win new clients.

You’ll work directly with Jobsi’s founder and take ownership of new business development, from identifying the right recruitment agencies through to bringing them on board as clients.

This is a genuine outbound sales role.

You’ll be expected to create your own opportunities, pick up the phone, start conversations with recruitment directors and build a consistent pipeline.

You’ll have plenty to work with. Existing clients, strong case studies, measurable results and a seven-day trial that allows prospects to experience Jobsi before making a longer-term commitment.

You’ll be responsible for:

Identifying and prospecting recruitment agencies
Building your own pipeline through phone, email and LinkedIn
Speaking directly with recruitment agency owners and directors
Understanding where agencies are struggling to attract candidates
Demonstrating Jobsi and presenting the commercial case for using us
Moving prospects through our seven-day trial
Converting successful trials into long-term clients
Managing your pipeline and follow-up activity through Pipedrive
Consistently working towards new business targets

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys new business.

You should be comfortable starting with a cold prospect, creating the opportunity and taking it through to close.

You’ll need:

Proven B2B new business sales experience
Strong outbound prospecting skills
Confidence picking up the phone and speaking with senior decision-makers
Experience managing the full sales process
A track record of working towards and achieving sales targets
Strong written and verbal communication
Good commercial judgement
The discipline to manage your own pipeline and follow-up activity

Experience in recruitment, recruitment technology, SaaS, HR technology or digital marketing would be useful, but isn’t essential.

We’re much more interested in whether you can sell.

If most of your previous sales opportunities have come from inbound leads or an SDR booking meetings for you, this probably isn’t the right role.

Salary & Commission

£32,000 basic + uncapped commission

Our commission structure is designed to reward both winning and retaining good clients.

You’ll continue earning commission from the clients you bring into Jobsi throughout their first 12 months with us, allowing your monthly commission to build as your client portfolio grows.

OTE: £50,000+

Where This Can Go

You’ll be Jobsi’s first dedicated sales hire.

That means we’re not looking for someone to simply occupy a seat in an established sales team. We’re looking for someone who wants to help us build one.

You’ll work directly with the founder, have genuine input into how we approach new business and play an important role in the next stage of Jobsi’s growth.

As the business grows, we expect the commercial team to grow with it.

For someone who can consistently win business and demonstrate they can help build a successful sales function, there is significant opportunity to progress with the company.

Pay: £32,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
