Slim Chickens is looking for hardworking, enthusiastic, and motivated Back of House Team Members to join our growing team in Bury St Edmunds.

What You'll Be Doing

Preparing and cooking menu items to Slim Chickens' high standards.
Ensuring every dish is presented consistently and served to specification.
Maintaining a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment.
Following all food safety, hygiene, health and safety, and sanitation procedures.
Assisting with stock rotation, deliveries, and inventory management to minimise waste.
Working closely with the wider team to ensure orders are prepared accurately and delivered on time.
Operating kitchen equipment safely and reporting any maintenance issues.
Supporting colleagues to maintain smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
Contributing to a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team environment.

What We're Looking For

A passion for cooking and producing high-quality food.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow recipes and procedures.
Ability to remain calm and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
Previous kitchen or hospitality experience is an advantage, but not essential—we'll provide full training for the right people.
