Full job description

Orchard House Family Assessment and Intervention Centre is seeking a highly organised, friendly and professional Family Services Administrator to support our multidisciplinary team. This pivotal role combines front-of-house reception, administrative coordination, and hands-on support for babies and young children in a safeguarding-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide a professional and welcoming reception service for families, visitors and professionals
Various administrative duties
Manage calendars, files and family planners
Facilities support
Assist with childcare for babies and young children
Liaise with internal teams and external agencies
Uphold GDPR, health & safety, and safeguarding standards
Support the efficient day-to-day operation of the service

This is a full time (0900-1700) office based role in Taunton.

About You

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable individual who can remain calm and professional in a busy environment.

You will have:

Previous administration experience, ideally within a related setting
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Good IT skills and confidence using a range of systems and technology
The ability to manage competing priorities and work independently
A professional, discreet and compassionate approach
Resilience and the ability to respond positively to changing demands
