Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Self Employed Courier Drivers with OWN VANS(MWB - LWB) to join our logistics team. This role involves delivering parcels and goods efficiently across designated routes (between 50 - 80 stops), ensuring timely and professional service. The ideal candidate will be organised, possess excellent communication skills, and have experience in commercial driving. As a self-employed contractor, you will manage your own schedule and vehicle, contributing to the smooth operation of our delivery services.

Duties

Collect parcels and goods from our depot in Exeter and deliver them to customers within designated timeframes
Handle deliveries with care, ensuring items are secure and undamaged during transit
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signatures and proof of delivery
Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery schedules or issues that may arise
Manage your own vehicle maintenance and adhere to legal requirements for commercial driving
Uphold high standards of customer service, representing the company professionally at all times

Qualifications

Experience as a delivery driver or courier is preferred
Valid driver’s licence
Experience in commercial driving
Ability to perform heavy lifting when required, including lifting parcels of various sizes and weights
Strong organisational skills with the ability to plan routes effectively
Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as a self-employed contractor
Knowledge of local roads and traffic regulations within the area of operation

This role offers an excellent opportunity FROM Monday to Friday for experienced drivers seeking flexible working arrangements within a dynamic logistics environment.

Pay: Up to £240.00 per day
