Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a SIA Door Supervisor, where your role is vital in ensuring the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. As a key frontline presence, you will manage access control, monitor activity through CCTV surveillance, and uphold a welcoming yet secure environment. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent loss, maintain order, and respond swiftly to any incidents. Responsibilities

Regulate entry and exit points by verifying identification and authorizing access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
Conduct regular CCTV surveillance to monitor activity across the premises, identifying any suspicious behavior or security breaches.
Implement loss prevention strategies by observing for theft or vandalism and responding appropriately.
Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt and professional care in emergency situations.
Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and CCTV footage reviews to ensure accurate record-keeping.
Enforce site policies and procedures with professionalism and courtesy, creating a safe environment for all.
Respond swiftly to alarms or emergencies, coordinating with emergency services if required.

Experience

Previous experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; comprehensive training will be provided.
Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance techniques to effectively monitor premises.
Familiarity with loss prevention methods to deter theft and vandalism.
Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license is essential for employment eligibility.
Basic first aid certification is highly desirable to handle medical emergencies confidently.
Strong observational skills with an eye for detail to identify potential risks or suspicious activity.
Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency responders.
