Job Summary

We are seeking a Fully Qualified Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, assist dentists during procedures, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel comfortable and confident in their dental experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your nursing skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered setting while contributing to oral health and overall well-being.

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including examinations, treatments, and surgeries
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and sterilization
Provide excellent patient care by offering pre- and post-treatment advice, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout their visit
Manage patient records accurately using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures, answer questions, and address concerns effectively
Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, stock management, and maintaining clinical supplies
Uphold health and safety standards at all times, adhering to infection control protocols and safeguarding policies

Skills

Proven experience as a Fully Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certification or registration
Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate compassionately and effectively in English
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Proficiency in IT systems for record keeping and appointment management
Outstanding communication skills to liaise confidently with patients and team members
Knowledge of nursing practices specific to dental care and infection control procedures
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating initiative and professionalism
