Description

We're looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our busy restaurant and deliver an outstanding dining experience for every customer. You'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the restaurant, ensuring excellent service, high food quality, and a well-organised team. This is a hands-on role where you'll lead by example, develop your team, and help drive the success of the business. Enjoy the benefit of retail-style working hours, with no evenings or split shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, motivate and support the restaurant team to deliver exceptional customer service.
Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the restaurant.
Recruit, train and develop team members, ensuring high standards are maintained.
Manage staffing levels, rotas and labour costs effectively.
Ensure consistently high standards of food presentation, cleanliness and customer experience.
Manage ordering, stock control, stock rotation and minimise waste.
Complete all food safety, hygiene and operational checks accurately and on time.
Ensure compliance with food safety, allergen and health & safety regulations.
Monitor budgets, gross profit and operating costs to support a profitable business.
Handle customer feedback professionally, resolving any issues promptly and positively.
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.

PrerequisitesKey Skills & Attributes

Previous experience managing a restaurant or high-volume hospitality operation.
A confident leader with the ability to inspire, coach and develop a team.
Excellent organisational, communication and problem-solving skills.
Strong focus on customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.
Good understanding of food safety, allergen management and health & safety legislation.
Commercial awareness with experience managing costs, labour and stock.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Duration

Full-time – Includes alternate weekend working. Enjoy retail-style hours with no evenings or split shifts.
