Your next opportunity

As Faculty Operations Coordinator, you'll play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day Faculty administrative and operations function, supporting the Faculty of Health Sciences and Wellbeing to achieve its strategic goals.

While operating as part of a Faculty service, you will also provide dedicated operational support to one of the Faculty’s Research Institutes - the Northern Ophthalmic Research and Innovation (NORI) Institute - to enable the effective delivery of its research and innovation activity.

You will positively contribute to the institutional reputation through role modelling a customer-focused, agile and professional administrative service, supporting a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

The role includes supporting engagement with external partners, ensuring the provision of high-quality communications and the effective coordination of activity that enhances the visibility and impact of Faculty and Institute priorities. You will also be responsible for the development, implementation and management of standard operating procedures and administrative systems, contributing to the planning and delivery of Faculty and Institute initiatives.

Please note that this is a fixed-term post for 5 years.

You will be confident working in a fast-paced environment, managing competing priorities and delivering a high-quality service to a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.

As a key member of the Faculty Operations team, you will bring strong administrative and operational experience, a collaborative approach and the ability to build productive professional relationships. You'll be comfortable coordinating multiple activities simultaneously, producing high-quality communications and documentation, and supporting the delivery of Faculty and Institute priorities.

Most importantly, you'll be adaptable, customer-focused and committed to maintaining high professional standards, contributing positively to the reputation and success of the Faculty, NORI and the University.
