Hours: Weekdays and weekends (Full flexibility, part-time, is required due to the nature of this role)

About the role

As the first point of contact for our valued clients, you’ll set the tone for their experience, creating an atmosphere of luxury and excellence from the moment they step through our doors. Approachable and outgoing, you’ll handle every interaction with poise and efficiency, ensuring queries are addressed seamlessly and our showroom operates like clockwork.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement: Greet visitors warmly and in a professional manner and offer refreshments while assessing their needs.
Customer Support: Build rapport, guide visitors, and liaise with team members to ensure a smooth customer journey.
Telephone Management: Answer incoming calls promptly and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Showroom co-ordination: Maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional showroom environment, including managing music, video screens, and tidiness.
Administration: Handle inquiries via phone, email, and in-person with professionalism and courtesy. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Safety and Security: Ensure the safety of people, vehicles, and property, reporting any issues as necessary.

What We’re Looking For

Experience: Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
Professionalism: Confident, assertive, and able to engage with a wide range of customers.
Customer Service: Warm, empathetic, and approachable with excellent communication skills.
Organisation: A natural multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Schedule:

Full flexibility part-time hours 7 days a week

Pay: From £12.71 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

Chelmsford CM1 3BH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
