Role Details:

In the role of Technical Coordinator you will contribute to achieving up to date and accurate food safety data, robust, effective and efficient complaint investigations, strong compliance to relevant food safety accreditations & a strong supplier assurance system.

Achieved by ensuring all technical integrity of our product portfolio, co-ordinating the complaints process, maintaining compliance with food safety standards, and supporting the business in delivering high-quality, safe products to our customers.

Some responsibilities of the role include:

Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to identify root causes and corrective & preventative actions.
Maintain accurate records and trend analysis to support continuous improvement.
Review and approve new products from a technical and food safety perspective.
Ensure all relevant documentation (specifications, allergen information, certifications) is complete and compliant.
Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to ensure smooth onboarding of new items.
Support technical assessments of new suppliers, including documentation review and risk evaluation.
Support supplier approval records and ensure ongoing compliance with company standards.
Support supplier audits and performance reviews.
Maintain the supplier approval accreditation record.
Co-ordinating the communication and investigation of supplier complaints.
Maintaining strong, positive and collaborative relationships with all suppliers.
Maintaining the supplier accreditation database.

It is essential that you have the following:

3 years minimum experience in a technical or quality assurance role within the food industry.
Strong I.T and administration skills, numeracy, and a good level of English.
Customer Service Focus, Excellent communication, interpersonal, relationship building, and stakeholder management skills.
An action-oriented individual, who is solutions focused, can manage multiple priorities, and deliver results on time.
Strong understanding of food safety standards, including BRCGS and HACCP.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and data management systems.
Level 3 food safety/ HACCP
