Overview

Join our dynamic retail team as a Junior Store Assistant and become the friendly face that makes shopping memorable! In this energetic role, you'll support daily store operations, assist customers with their needs, and ensure the store remains organized, inviting, and well-stocked. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help create a positive shopping experience for all visitors. Duties

Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience
Assist with merchandising by organizing products on shelves and displays to attract attention and maximize sales
Support inventory management through stock replenishment, labeling, and stockroom organization
Use effective communication skills to answer customer inquiries both in person and over the phone, providing clear information about products and store policies
Engage in upselling techniques to promote special offers, new arrivals, or complementary products
Maintain store cleanliness and organization to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
Manage time efficiently to handle multiple tasks during busy periods while adhering to store procedures

Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
Basic math skills for handling transactions, stock counts, and inventory checks
Strong organizational skills to keep shelves tidy and stockroom orderly
Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette, to interact confidently with customers and team members
Ability to multitask effectively while managing time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Bilingual or multilingual candidates will find this role especially rewarding as they connect with diverse customer bases
