Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Manager to join our vibrant coffee shop team! In this energetic role, you will support the overall operation of the coffee shop, ensuring exceptional service, high-quality food and beverage preparation, and a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Your leadership will inspire team members to deliver outstanding hospitality while maintaining food safety standards and efficient kitchen operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about coffee, culinary arts, and team management to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily shop operations, including opening and closing procedures
Supervise and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service and uphold brand standards
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, ensuring consistency and quality in all menu items
Maintain food safety protocols and ensure compliance with health regulations at all times
Support training initiatives for new staff on food production, serving techniques, and hospitality best practices
Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of ingredients and equipment
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to guarantee a positive experience for every guest

Qualifications

Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, preferably in a coffee shop or café environment
Strong team management skills with the ability to lead by example and foster a collaborative atmosphere
Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary roles is highly desirable
Background in hospitality or hotel industry is a plus, demonstrating excellent service skills
Barista experience is advantageous but not mandatory; a passion for coffee culture is essential
Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to motivate staff and manage multiple priorities effectively
