Full job description

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our dental practice as Trainee Dental Nurses and Receptionists. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy dental environment while developing essential skills in patient care, communication, and administrative support. As a trainee, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth clinic operations and delivering exceptional patient experiences. No prior experience is required—just a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a passion for helping others!

Responsibilities

Greet patients warmly and assist with their check-in and check-out procedures to create a welcoming atmosphere
Support dental professionals during treatments by preparing equipment and ensuring patient comfort
Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and organization
Provide excellent patient care by offering guidance, answering questions, and addressing concerns with professionalism
Manage appointment scheduling efficiently to maximize clinic productivity and reduce waiting times
Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and updating patient information
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and treatment areas

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to interact effectively with patients and team members
Compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating patience and empathy at all times
Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic IT literacy for record keeping, appointment management, and using dental software systems
Willingness to learn about nursing procedures, dental treatments, and health & safety protocols
Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed
