Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a confident, creative and outgoing Content Creator to lead our Instagram and TikTok content, bringing fresh ideas that help our brand stand out across social media.

You must be comfortable in front of the camera, have a confident personality, and enjoy interacting with people. A large part of this role involves interviewing customers and members of the public, creating engaging street-style content, and capturing the atmosphere of our venue.

This is a unique opportunity to become the face behind the content of a brand-new city centre venue, creating exciting social media that showcases student nightlife, live events, high-quality food and drinks, and the overall customer experience. If you enjoy creating viral content, keeping up with trends, and have a passion for social media, we'd love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Plan, film and edit engaging TikTok and Instagram Reels.
Develop creative content ideas that align with current social media trends.
Create content both inside the venue and around the local area.
Interview customers and members of the public for entertaining and engaging videos.
Be confident presenting to camera and appearing in content.
Capture high-quality photos and videos of food, drinks, events and the venue.
Work with the marketing team to execute weekly content plans.
Attend events, themed nights and promotions to produce live content.
Monitor social media trends and suggest new content opportunities.
Ensure all content reflects the venue's brand and tone of voice.
Respond to comments, messages and interact with followers where required.
Help grow our online community through engaging and consistent content.

Experience & Skills

Essential

Confident speaking and presenting on camera.
Strong knowledge of TikTok, Instagram Reels and current social media trends.
Experience filming and editing short-form content using a smartphone or camera.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Creative mindset with the ability to generate original content ideas.
Comfortable approaching and interacting with members of the public.
Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
Available to work evenings and weekends when required.

Desirable

Previous experience creating content for hospitality, nightlife, food or entertainment brands.
Experience using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar editing software.
Understanding of social media analytics and content performance.
Photography or videography experience.
Knowledge of viral content strategies and social media growth.
