Overview

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a PCB Assembly Operative! In this vital role, you will be responsible for assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) with precision and care, ensuring high-quality electronic components are correctly put together to meet production standards. This position offers an engaging environment where your mechanical aptitude and electrical knowledge will contribute directly to the creation of innovative electronic products. Responsibilities

Use hand tools and power tools to assemble PCB components accurately and efficiently
Operate surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to place tiny electronic parts onto circuit boards
Follow detailed assembly instructions and technical diagrams to ensure correct component placement
Conduct visual inspections and electrical testing of assembled PCBs to verify quality standards are met
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automated assembly processes when required
Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to safety and quality protocols
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues during the assembly process to minimize downtime

Skills

Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and surface mount technology (SMT) equipment
Basic electrical experience and understanding of electronic components and circuitry
Mechanical knowledge to handle small parts and assemble intricate assemblies accurately
Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing processes
Experience with assembly procedures in electronics manufacturing environments is preferred
