Summary

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant

2 Days per Week Thursday & Friday

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant to join our Flakefleet family, supporting teaching and learning within our Key Stage 2 classrooms on Thursdays and Fridays.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a busy school environment and understands the power of encouragement, relationships and positivity in helping children succeed.

The Role Will Include:

Supporting pupils across the KS2 curriculum
Working with individual children and small groups to build confidence and understanding
Helping to create engaging, exciting and inclusive learning experiences
Supporting pupils with a range of learning and emotional needs
Promoting positive behaviour and strong relationships
Assisting teachers with classroom organisation and preparation
Bringing energy, encouragement and care to the school day

Essential Qualifications

Teaching Assistant Level 2 or equivalent

Essential Experience

Has experience working with children
Is nurturing, patient and adaptable
Can build positive relationships quickly
Has a genuine passion for helping children thrive
Brings positivity, enthusiasm and a sense of fun to their role
Works well as part of a team
