Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on various types of buildings. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work at heights. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop specialised skills within the construction industry while contributing to high-quality projects.

Responsibilities

Installing new roofing systems using a variety of materials such as tiles, shingles, metal sheets, and membranes
Repairing and replacing damaged or worn roofing components to ensure weatherproofing and structural integrity
Reading and interpreting technical schematics and blueprints to accurately execute roofing designs
Operating power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently
Welding and fabricating custom metal components as required for specialised roofing applications
Assisting with construction tasks including carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and other related activities when necessary
Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards
Heavy lifting of materials such as tiles, shingles, or metal sheets to facilitate installation or repairs
Maintaining a clean and organised work site throughout each project

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades such as carpentry, masonry, or plumbing is preferred
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately
Knowledge of roofing materials and installation techniques
Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and work at heights on ladders or scaffolding
Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to construction sites
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

This role is ideal for individuals committed to craftsmanship in the construction industry who are eager to expand their expertise in roofing systems. Applicants should demonstrate a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards while contributing effectively to team projects. I need someone to start ASAP cash in hand every day food included if you’ve got a driver license even better will pay more thank you. You must have roofing experience if not please don’t apply.

Pay: £140.00-£200.00 per day
