Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our vibrant team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to manage time effectively and ensure food safety will contribute to the overall success of our café. If you have a love for coffee and enjoy helping others, we would love to hear from you.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
Assist in food preparation, including pastries and ssandwiches, while adhering to health regulations.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders accurately and efficiently.
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales.
Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role is essential.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating change.
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
