Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Chef de Partie to join our dynamic culinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining kitchen standards, and supporting the overall operation of the kitchen. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food and culinary excellence to develop their skills within a professional environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes in accordance with menu specifications and quality standards
Assist in the organisation and management of kitchen stations during service periods
Ensure all food preparation meets safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards, adhering to food safety regulations
Maintain stock levels by monitoring ingredients and notifying management of shortages or expiry dates
Support the training of junior kitchen staff and ensure team cohesion during busy periods
Keep work areas clean, organised, and well-maintained at all times
Collaborate with the head chef and other team members to deliver an exceptional dining experience for guests

Experience

Chef: 4 years (required)
Cooking: 3 years (required)
Kitchen : 3 years (required)
Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen environment
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and presentation skills
Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is essential
Previous experience serving guests or working in customer-facing roles is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
