Job Title: Full Time Team Member

Location: Broomfields Farm Shop

Job Type: Full Time

Schedule: Mid week and some weekend work on a rota basis

Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

About Us: Broomfields Farm Shop is a family-owned and operated business with a legacy spanning over 50 years. We are committed to providing our customers with the finest quality products and an exceptional shopping experience. As we continue to thrive, we are seeking a dedicated new person to join our friendly team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and customer-focused Full Time Team Member to contribute to the smooth operation of our Farm Shop. This role involves working in the week with some flexibility required on weekends on a rota basis. The ideal candidate will assist in various tasks to ensure that our customers receive top-notch service and our shop maintains a welcoming atmosphere. Any creativity will also be encouraged to make displays within the shop throughout the seasons.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and helpful manner.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
Stock and replenish shelves and displays as needed.
Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately.
Provide product information and answer customer inquiries.
Assist with inventory management and restocking products.
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and targets.

Qualifications:

Previous retail experience is a plus but not required.
Excellent customer service skills with a willingness to go the extra mile.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Flexibility to work weekends and adapt to changing schedules.
A positive attitude and a team player mentality.
Attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
Food hygiene certification is preferred but not mandatory.
