Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bar/ Restaurant Manager to oversee our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in bartending and team management, ensuring a high standard of service and a vibrant atmosphere for our guests. This role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations within the hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train bar staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
Oversee the preparation and presentation of beverages, ensuring quality standards are met.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering supplies and controlling stock to minimise waste.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative drink menus that complement food offerings.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations within the bar area.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving for customer satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar and restaurant area, including equipment and utensils.
Assist in planning promotional events and offers to enhance the bar's visibility and attract new customers.
Managing and maintaining stock levels.
Cellar Management

Requirements

Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
Strong supervisory skills with experience in team management.
Knowledge of food preparation and production processes is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for culinary arts and beverage trends is highly desirable.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
