Full job description

Naturediet Pet Foods Limited are looking for experience production operatives/machine minders to join our team at Ickburgh, just outside Mundford.

Hours of work are 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm

Working Monday to Friday (very occasional weekends - overtime at double time)

Key Outputs and Responsibilities

To Setup and maintain the production equipment
To maintain change over parts and spares when not in use
Carry out basic level preventative maintenance task with area ownership
To record all downtime and repairs on the downtime sheets in conjunction with maintenance teams.
To be able to risk assess duties as required

Qualities, Skills & Experience Required

A thorough understanding of the consequences of failing to complete duties
Good knowledge and understanding of using basic hand tools
Food Hygiene Training (Basic level) either external or in-house equivalent training
Good knowledge of H&S; Aware of all relevant H&S legislation, demonstrates a high standard of compliance & the right attitude towards H&S, Risk assess area of responsibility
Able to communicate effectively both written & oral
Task focused
Positive attitude; demonstrates a 'can-do' attitude
Thorough attention to detail in carrying out tasks
Must be able to work unsupervised

Qualifications

Must have previous machine operation background and troubleshooting/fault finding ability.
Must be able to work in demanding areas lifting up to 25kg when required

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £13.19 per hour
