Lightning Solutions (Wales) Ltd is an equal opportunity employer;

Position: Office Administrator.

Place of Work: Lightning Solutions (Wales) Ltd – Merthyr Tydfil.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week. 8.30am-4.30pm (30 min unpaid lunch break).

Rate of pay: Meets national minimum wage.

We are seeking an experienced individual to take on an administrative role in a busy office. An administrative background is essential and admin experience is vital to this role.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and experience of IT systems, specifically Microsoft packages, including Excel and Word.

Duties:

Confidently deal directly with customers though various means; telephone, electronically, face to face.
Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries.
Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries.
Schedule appointments/works, using IT systems.
Organise workflow to meet customer timeframes.
Process letters and emails.
Utilise and manage software programs e.g., Microsoft Office packages, Big Change and Outlook diary systems.
Competently manage spreadsheets, inputting, recording, retrieving and storing information.
Maintain customer databases and all documentation.
Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource.
Manage all administration within the office environment. Processing customer invoices, updating databases, spreadsheets, accurate filing and general administration duties.
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments.
Support the electrical team regarding scheduled works.
Support and ensure the engineer diary is up to date with all relevant information.
Maintain records, ensuring that all paperwork is kept up to date, accurately stored (paper base and electronically) and recorded accurately.
Be able to report information accurately to the Office Manager and Contracts Managers.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
