Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and personable Showroom Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in creating an inviting environment for clients, supporting sales activities, and ensuring the showroom operates smoothly. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop organisational and communication skills within a creative and fast-paced setting. Fluency in multiple languages and proficiency with design software are highly desirable.

Duties

Greet visitors and assist them in navigating the showroom, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Monitor and contact new incoming leads in a timely and efficient manner.
Support sales by designing Bathrooms on our CAD Software and finalising quotes / jobs with customers. (CAD Training will be provided)
Support sales through upselling products and services, enhancing customer experience and meeting sales targets.
Maintain the organisation and visual merchandising of the showroom to ensure an attractive presentation of products.
Utilise SketchUp and CAD software to prepare layouts or visual representations as required for client consultations.
Communicate effectively with clients in English , addressing inquiries and explaining product features clearly.
Assist with stock management, including inventory checks and organising displays to optimise space utilisation.
Support the sales team by preparing quotations, processing orders, and following up with clients.
Engage in basic maths calculations related to pricing, discounts, or measurements during client interactions.

Requirements

Proficiency with SketchUp, CAD, and strong organisational skills are essential for this role. (Training can be provided for the correct candidate)
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience or knowledge of merchandising, upselling techniques, and basic maths is desirable.
Ability to work effectively within a team while demonstrating initiative independently.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure the showroom remains inviting and well-presented.
Previous experience in a retail or showroom environment is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided where necessary. This role offers a vibrant working environment where creativity meets customer service excellence, providing valuable experience for those looking to develop their career within retail or design sectors.

Pay: £12.90 per hour
